#ASKBLH Episode #1 – Who’s Leaving the Core

Wow! The first episode of #ASKBLH is finished. I’m bloody scared to toss it out there for you unforgiving maniacs but what’s done is done. Have at ‘er! I’m not doing the iTunes stuff yet, so we’re only on soundcloud. I reckon it’s 2016 and the stranglehold apple had on podcasts ceases to exist nowadays. There are lots of different podcast apps or simply the soundcloud app is great. I use it all the time to listen to my Oilers radio shows!

Also, I won’t be the only one doing these pods (Thankfully! Said everyone. lol). Zach Laing has expressed his interest, G-Money has offered his services as well, and our local viking Kris Hansen has said he’d be up for it too! The Oilers Rig Radio Podcast Ep.9: Dicks, Drugs, and Star Wars

As I do every week, I joined Dave Gordon (@rustyknuckler) from The Oilers Rig for their podcast. This week’s was hilarious as Dave was all hopped up on some flu medications. We went full bore into the Oilers recent winning streak, the Steven Stamkos rumours, Star Wars and what costume Dave is going to dress up as on his yearly trip to Candy Cane Lane, and there’s a bit about Tomas Hertl/Joe Thornton and dicks. The Oilers Rig Radio is Back!

Hey folks! I’m writing this while the blog’s server is good. It’s been giving us fits this week hence the lack of action here are BLH. So with that said I’d like to let you know that you can hear me as well as the kick ass crew over at The Oilers Rig on Channel One Radio every Wednesday night at 7pm MST!!

Who are these kick ass people I speak of? Well, how about Alex Thomas, Dave Gordon, Jackie Dawson, and Sean Wingrave and the many more contributing behind the scenes. They’ve been too generous in allowing me to join in their podcasting fun and I’m not totally sure if Dave is regretting that decision to buy me a couple pints at the Tilted Kilt when I was home that fall but that’s a story for another day… If you’ve listened to The Oilers Rig Podcast in the past then you’ll know exactly who I’m talking about but if you haven’t and your cherry has yet to be burst by The Oilers Rig, then you my friends are in for a treat!
