On This Day (1//6/2020): McDavid Scores Goal of the Decade

A year ago on this day, Sir Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers finally added Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON to his list of NHL rinks that he’s scored a goal in. He did it in the finest way possible too…

Aside from tearing the very fabric of the time space continuum and finishing the game with four points, McDavid actually accomplished a number of feats in a matter of about five seconds.

  1. He shattered both of Morgan Rielly’s ankles simultaneously.
  2. He ripped the souls out of every Toronto Maple Leafs fan ever…
  3. He laughed in their faces and wagged his finger as if to say, “The Edmonton Oilers are no.1, not Toronto.”
  4. He, for a short moment, stopped the world from revolving around Toronto.

I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us this season!
